Krystian R Seebert JD LLM

Inspired by personal interactions with probate and trust administration, Krystian focuses his practice on estate planning. He has experience in drafting sophisticated trust amendments in response to the SECURE Act and SECURE 2.0 Act, developing strategies to reform irrevocable trusts, and drafting creative disposition provisions for clients with unique family situations. His outside‑the‑box thinking informs the counsel he provides.

For his undergraduate studies, Krystian attended Villanova University in Pennsylvania. While at Villanova, he earned a B.A. in Psychology, with minors in Chinese language and Asian Studies and a minor in Business from the Villanova School of Business.

Krystian returned to the Midwest to attend the University of Illinois College of Law’s juris doctor on a full-ride scholarship, graduating cum laude. After several years of trusts and estates practice, he completed the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law’s Tax LLM program, earning his specialized degree in tax law with honors.

In his free time, Krystian enjoys supporting Chicago sports teams and pursuing his lifelong enthusiasm for the martial arts.
